Bought this 1080p variant before there were any reviews since the former 720p model was well received by other customers. I was pleasantly surprised that it performs well on both picture and sound quality.I have a mesh network so had no WiFi issues. Setup took a little while (20 minutes?) since there were multiple update cycles needed between the FireTV portion and the remote itself. Once setup it works exactly like a dedicated FireTV stick, but without juggling multiple remotes. Highly recommend for a spare room TV.
remote quit working after 2 days ... now tv useless
I needed a new tv for the bedroom and this one fit the bill. Great pic, user friendly and lots of apps that I stream from.
